Rumors related to iPad Pro are a hit in the industry. According to those rumors, Apple wants its next iPad Pro to be a hybrid between iPad Air and Macbook Pro. Apple’s recently released devices like iPad Air, iPad Mini and Macbook Pro have been spectacular success in the market. Apple probably wants to cash in on this gimmick and thus, up for launching the new iPad Pro.
Floating rumors have given indications of the device’s specs. iPad Pro will be a cross between a Tablet and a laptop. We can call it a Tablet, only in bigger in size. Unofficial sources reported the length of the Tablet would be 11.8 inch. It will have width of 7.9 inch and its depth will be 7.7 mm. The device is reported to have a weight of 600 grams. The most striking feature of the device would be its display. According to rumors, the
display would be 12.9 inch diagonally.
Other than the screen being large, the display resolution of the Tablet will also be stunning. The resolution could be 4096 x 3072 pixels. Due to the screen panel being large enough, 4K display could be comfortably accommodated. The 2K variant of iPad Pro will have display resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. iPad Air currently sports a display of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It’s goes without saying that the display would be way better in iPad Pro. Rumors also hold that Pro will have UHD display.
The Smart Cover and the Stylus will accompany iPad Pro. A patent filing in recent time indicates that an enhanced quality Smart Cover with full keyboard could be released by iPad Pro. The keyboard would function independently from the screen cover. Therefore, you could connect the keyboard to the iPad and the keyboard-attached-iPad will mimic a full-fledged laptop. You will also be able to use the keyboard wirelessly. The keyboard could have a special feature; it could support gesture control on a small panel. Henceforth, you won’t need a conventional touchpad.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro arrived in the market with a stylus. It is rumored that iPad Pro may also hit the stores with signature stylus. A patent filing hints that the direction detection technology in iPad Pro stylus would make the touchscreen to respond differently to individual stylus strokes.
Fingerprint scanning apart, iPad Pro could also utilize user’s eyeballs. The eye-tracking technology will be touted by iPad Pro according to some journals such as International Business Times. However, details about how eye-tracking technology will operate in iPad Pro haven’t been mentioned.
The release date of iPad Pro is not known yet. KGI Security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the 12.9 inch Tablet will drive growth for Apple. But he also said the device will need a new and more advanced software, which Apple is currently developing. By the end of 2014, the new OS could be fully developed, so iPad Pro may
arrive in the market in 2015.
Some other sources also confirmed this hypothesis. It seems there’s hardly any chance for iPad Pro to launch in this year.
