Nokia X Nokia X+ Nokia XL: Android Smartphones

The giant of mobile telephony, Nokia has launched three budget Smartphones on Monday at MWC (Mobile World Congress). These are the first ever phones from nokia which are based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), As we rumored previously Nokia is ready to launch their android Smartphones, the Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL+ are capable to run Android apps. Previously this is rumored as Nokia Normandy.

Many people were questioning after rumors, how Nokia can launch the Android Smartphone after the Nokia-Microsoft deal and we also were waiting for the official launched of the much awaited Android Smartphone from Nokia. But Nokia has not violated any policy of the deal and give the gift for their enthusiastic fans.

Nokia XL front Nokia X Nokia X+ Nokia XL: Android Smartphones

These budget Smartphones runs on Nokia X, OS instead of Android, Nokia X, OS doesn’t look like Android interface, although it is a hybrid mobile platform that runs on Google’s Android Open Source project. It is not wrong if I am saying Nokia X, OS is the mash up of Android, Miscrosft services and its own apps. This custom interface and platform has no Google play store and will not support Google Play services.

With the touch of Android Open Source Project (AOSP) made by Nokia in these phones, is it really ready to compete with Samsung and Apple in the smartphone market? I believe the android features to expect from this phone would be limited.

Hence, its still have long way to go when it comes to meeting the needs of smartphone users.

However, these models are welcome because they readily meet the needs of budget phone users!
